Olivia Goes Pink-Free for a Week to Support Climb to Recovery

If you've spent time around the Climb to Recovery community, you'll probably know Olivia as the smiling face who is always dressed in pink. Whether she's welcoming new climbers, offering encouragement, or helping others build confidence in the outdoors, her love of her favourite colour has become something of a trademark.

So when Olivia decided to support Climb to Recovery's work by giving up pink for an entire week, everyone knew it was a real sacrifice!

To raise funds for the charity, Olivia challenged herself to stop wearing pink and encouraged others to do the opposite: wear her favourite colour and make a donation to support Climb to Recovery. The challenge took place across two Climb to Recovery events: the Women's Ascension Weekend on 11-12 August and the Peak District course, held from 30 April to 6 May.

Olivia is a familiar and welcoming presence at Climb to Recovery events. She is passionate about helping women find the confidence to take part in climbing and outdoor activities, and she is often one of the first people to greet new members of the community.

The challenge was a wonderful success, with climbers embracing the pink theme and coming together to support an important cause. Most importantly, it highlighted the incredible spirit of generosity and encouragement that makes the Climb to Recovery community so special.

A huge thank you to Olivia for choosing to support the charity in such a creative way and for inspiring so many others to get involved. We're incredibly grateful for her fundraising efforts and for everything she does to make Climb to Recovery such a welcoming place for everyone.
