VOLUNTEER WITH US

At Climb 2 Recovery, we generally seek to develop volunteers from within our membership community. This helps ensure that our volunteers understand our mission, values, and the unique experiences of the people we support.

That said, we are always interested in hearing from individuals who have specialist skills, knowledge, or experience that could make a significant contribution to our charity.

Who We're Looking For

As a small charity, our capacity to recruit, train, and support volunteers is limited. For this reason, we are particularly interested in hearing from people who already have relevant professional expertise or substantial experience in one of the following areas:

Rock Climbing and Outdoor Activities

  • Qualified rock climbing instructors

  • Experienced outdoor activity leaders

  • Individuals with recognised coaching or instructional qualifications

Trauma-Informed Support

  • Professionals or practitioners experienced in supporting people affected by complex trauma

  • Individuals with experience working with military personnel, veterans, or those impacted by military service

  • People with relevant therapeutic, psychological, or support backgrounds

Charity Development and Fundraising

  • Fundraising professionals

  • Trust and grant fundraising specialists

  • Charity development and organisational growth experts

  • Strategic planning, partnership development, or income generation specialists

Before You Apply

Because we are a small organisation, we are unable to provide extensive volunteer development programmes or create volunteer roles without a clear organisational need. We therefore encourage applications from people whose existing skills and experience align closely with the areas outlined above.
